Description:

"Because humans need Oxygen."

A new effort to create a set of icons mixing the modern style of KDEs "Oxygen" icons with Ubuntu's "Human" set.

This icon set has been crafted by the Ubuntu Artwork community and therefor has Ubuntu in mind for it's intended use.

Breathe inherits Human then GNOME. This will account for it's somewhat disjointed look at times. As expected, icons will be replaced as development continues.

For comprehensive info including how to get involved please see the "Homepage" link.

An Ubuntu PPA containing packages for Hardy, Intrepid, and Jaunty can be found here:

https://launchpad.net/~breathe-dev/+archive/ppa

 mmmm

 by 6205 on: Jul 19 2009

It has potential, but currently is ugly in coparision with gnome-colors..

These icons are simply too blurry, like any other oxygen variations or MAX OS X or other icons....

Making 1000 or more icons doesn't mean anything if all sizes are not nice, clean and SHARP..

I think that breath is going well, but the folder icons looks bad. The ones used on humanity or Gnome-colors are better choices.

I like the folders. They have a little bit more details like gnome-colors etc. And the little transparency on the sides are very nice.

 Theme problem

by kzlazy on: Oct 30 2009

So, after a clean install of Karmic, when I choose Breathe iconset for my theme, the back/forward/reload/home buttons of nautilus remain blue as in gnome default, and icons in places>bookmarks as well as in firefox's bookmarks, remain the ugly grey gnome defaults.

Any ideas/solutions?

Because I have grown an addiction for Breathe iconset... Please.

 Huge hdd footprint!

 by molecule-eye on: Nov 2 2009

I was considering downloading these when synaptic told me that the package would use nearly 60MB of space! I'm sure this wouldn't bode well for memory and speed of drawing the icons either.

Time to remove the repository I just added...
