Description:

A clean and simple look. Goes well with blue and light themes.

My aim was to create a modern and original theme for Linux as I felt many of the Emerald themes on here were often based on Vista or OSX. Hopefully this theme provides something a bit different.

This is my first theme and I'd welcome any comments or feedback.

I'm using my own icon theme with this - you can get it here:

Recommended GTK theme is Glossy.
Colours: background text
Windows - #E8F4FF #1F4E86
Input boxes #FFFFFF #000000
Selected Items #9CDCE5 #FFFFFF

Thanks for the feedback. I use the glossy gtk theme on my machine and it looks good. I have also made a gtk icon theme that go well with the Cloud 9 theme. The icons are currently incomplete, but I plan to release them as soon as they are finished. I will upload some more screenshots later.

Nice theme, I'm using Polyester Style on KDE with this and it looks pretty good. Just in case anyone else here is using KDE.

Thanks for adding that. I've never used KDE, so it's useful to know what themes work on KDE too.

the concept of creating something different for linux, not ripping-off other OS designs... finally someone who thinks the same way as me :)

Thanks for the kind words! It always bugged me that all the best themes were just rip offs and I felt that Linux deserved its own unique theme. I hope this fits the bill.
