Description:

This is a color modification to Ubuntu Hardy's "heron-simple" wallpaper. It's designed to match my Clearlooks/Murrine/Nodoka/Compact-Colors sets of themes.

There are Brave (Blue), Human (Orange), Wise (Green), Wine (Red) and Dark versions.

The package contains:
- Glossy 1920x1200 SVG wallpapers.
- Simple 1920x1200 (flat background) SVG wallpapers.
- Transparent 1920x1200 SVG wallpaper templates. (so you can choose background color)
- Optional 1600x1200 PNG wallpapers.
- Optional 1920x1200 PNG wallpapers.

As usual, all this is possible thanks to Ubuntu's art team.

Please:
If you must vote down, or if there is something you dislike about the wallpapers, let me know so I can work on improving it!

Changelog:

2.5 - Updated colors and added a dark version.

These are great, however, a red one would be fantastic!

would be awesome if someone could make this as svg, so everyone can choose the color he/she likes.

Yes, it would be much easier to change the colors.. I haven't found one, but maybe whoever designed the hardy wallpapers can release it if he hasn't already.

 work overhead! :o)

Hi there..

I like your illustration on the wallpaper very much, but I want to give you a hint, as I read the color requests:

Convert this picture into an PNG file, greyscale at best, and with transparent color instead of the color you provide, white for example.

Save it with transparency: Now you have a wallpaper where every user can choose its own color variation by setting the "solid background" color to their favourite color - because gnome uses this color when he gets a wallpaper with transparency as its layer below! :)

I don't think it'd look right after that. I think the only fool-proof way would be to find the original non-colored .svg (I've found the original fela kuti ones, just not these).

With this new version it's now possible to do that! :)

Thanks!

I think, I'll use it now for a long time - because I often try out new color schemes and themes, I needed a nice wallpaper that would always fit - now it works :)
