Description:

This is a collection of Nautilus scripts I've created and collected to enable C/C++ project compilation for Linux/Windows, audio file conversion, package file conversion and installation, and a few other things via Nautilus. Please read the AUTHORS, INSTALL, CHANGELOG and LICENSE files for further details.

For easy installation, you can use the script installer found in the download links below. Note that you may have to navigate to each script folder and click "View->Reload" in order for Nautilus to use the scripts.

Scripts included are:
A script for blogging(requires nanoblogger CLI engine).

Several package conversion scripts(to convert between .deb, .rpm and Slackware .tgz).

Several development scripts for C/C++ and Python developers.

Emulation scripts using the Qemu machine emulator.

A script to create a KDE service menu from a Nautilus script.

Several multimedia scripts.

A couple of scripts for RPM packages.

A script to create a custom X session.

A downloader script, a script to open a terminal in the current directory and a anonymizer script are also included.

Changelog:

Tuesday, January 08 2008 09:43 PM:
Created "Convert_to_PNG.sh" script in Multimedia>Images.

Monday, January 21 2008 11:47 PM:
Script installer now adds a desktop shortcut to the installed script folder, bypassing the annoying "All executable files in this folder will appear in the Scripts menu" dialog box. Plus it now installs to a "sample-scripts" subdirectory, preventing other scripts from getting hosed during installation.

Tuesday, December 16 2008 10:00 AM:
Added NauTwitter.sh script, which allows you to update your Twitter microblog.(Requires curl)

Wednesday, December 17 2008 09:52 PM:
NauTwitter is now menu-based, with the added ability to display your friends' timeline.

Friday, December 19 2008 09:02 PM:
NauTwitter.sh is now an approved Twitter client, meaning that your Twitter blog will show "from NauTwitter" instead of "from web".

Saturday, February 07 2009 12:36 PM:
NauTwitter.sh will now save login info after entering it once.

Friday, April 24 2009 11:00 AM:
Removed NauTwitter.sh, as it is now a separate project(but still a Nautilus Script).

Hi I installed your scripts by placing the sample-scripts archive in the Home directory. After installing, I dont notice any new options in the context menus.

Im a Linux n00b :D

Go to your $HOME/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts directory, and use "View->Reload" in each directory. That should solve your problem.

I can't seem to find it anywhere, only a red version. Would it be possible for you to upload it here?

Unfortunately I haven't had that theme around for a long time. But here's the icon theme if you like:

What do you include in this pack?
A list of scripts included would be nice if possible.
