Description:

NOTE: I did not make the icons for this them. The icons were made by Carlitus (http://carlitus.deviantart.com). I merely reconfigured the icons to be compatible with the new naming scheme for Gnome 2.24.

I originally started with Noia Warm, because it seemed Carlitus wasn't going to update his icons anymore. After that release I had some requests to the original Noia theme.

The theme is not complete or finished, but it is a good start. If anybody wishes to help me complete this. Please drop me a line. I'd appreciate any help with improving this theme.

Most of the theme was constructed using the Gib mono application with modified icon templates. Also, I used the Ubuntu theme, Human, as a base to construct this theme. So if a Human icon pops up here or there, it probably means I either couldn't find a suitable icon or I messed up an icon name somewhere.

Changelog:

* 2008-11-15
Minor updates and fixes

* 2008-11-10
Taylor "Ripps" L-Wren repackages Noia for Gnome 2.24.

* 2004
Carlitus releases last version of Noia.

 Noia

 by Ansus on: Nov 11 2008

I've tried this theme but found that icons for folders displayed larger than all other ones.

This is under user account, under root all OK.

Other themes (including your Noia Warm) also displayed OK. Please correct the behaivior.

I'm not seeing this in my Ubuntu 8.10. What are you using, it might help.

I use Ubuntu 8.10.

It seems that the folder icons displayed properly only in 100% and 50% mode. When to set other zoom, they displayed either larger or smaller then other icons.

Well, I'm not seeing it in my installation.
Are you using Nautilus? I'm not sure what file browser your using?

Have you tried "gtk-update-icon-cache -f ~/.icons/Noia"? You might have a problem with icon caches.
