Description:

Maverick Meerkat Countdown Counter is a bash script which notifies how many days left for Ubuntu 10.10.

It notifies on every GNOME session start (after 90 seconds) You can also check status from a terminal, by typing 'maverick' command, anytime.

On release date (October 10, 2010)

Script will check for Ubuntu 10.10 release every 60 minutes. (works for UTC)

When it will release , script will be notify you !!

hi, i'm new to all this linux stuff, how do i use this script, when i clicked download i had to copy an paste it from webpage to a txt file but now i don't know what to do lol,
if you could share some light on how to use it,i would be very grateful
