Oh, also, it looks like, other than what I mentioned earlier, like a very good config. It takes advantage of horizontal space and fits a lot of good information in. I like it.
Does this work on only certain systems? I noticed the hdd temp, and I wasn't aware that all hard drives had that capability. Also, I got this error message when using your config file:
Conky: /home/_________/.conkyrc2: 9: config file error
Conky: use_spacer should have an argument of left, right, or none. 'yes' seems to be some form of 'true', so defaulting to right.
Conky: can't open '/sys/class/hwmon/hwmon0/device/temp1_input': No such file or directory
please check your device or remove this var from Conky
I have massively taken portion of your script to edit mine. I like the tons of information available.
For those who find there is too much informations, try to put conky on the widget layer of compiz-fusion. In this way you get all the info available but not directly on your desktop :)
I think the same as you. Probably there could be some diagnostic investigation based on specific issue that needs that kind of sensors results available, but out of trouble I really don't understand how the hell you could find usefull the perpetual availability of those values...
