Neutronium DeepBlack
GTK2 Themes
A dark and simple gtk-theme.

note
As of version 1.0 this is not a murrine-theme anymore! I got tired of the murrine-look so I switched completely to pixmaps.
I hope you like the look of the new buttons, scrollbars etc! :)
new
I've included media-control-icons for gtk that matches the Neutronium DeepBlack Style.
To use them just copy the content of the 'icons' folder to the theme dir of your current icon-theme (~/.icons/*theme*).

I'm running Ubuntu 8:04 with the "default" GTK + engine package as well as several others installed.
However I still get an error message stating that the correct theme engine is not installed when I select this theme in the appearance applet.
Cheers.

I had a problem with my browser settings and it the original post did not appear to go through.
It's a shame this site does not allow you to delete a post.

This theme needs the "pixmap" engine.

-moz-appearance: none !important;
to every section in the userContent.css file. I think a modified css for firefox 3 should be sent with the release. Here's my source (worked for me): http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=638227&sid=631f795f8edaa3f88c3f526a686a1022

By the way, you have the only Beryl theme that hides the buttons and still works. Awesome work. However, I seem to get a vertical line in mine roughly halfway across. Like it "breaks" or something.

I'll look into that issue with the emerald theme and yeah, maybe slightly rounded buttons would be better... I'll see what I can do.

Other than that it's a great theme. That's just a big issue.

you can install this theme for your user by extracting the theme.tar.gz to the '~/.themes' folder (/home/rastiazul/.themes for example).
If the folder doesn't exist just create it (don't forget the dot in front).
Now open the gnome-theme-manager (if you use gnome) and click on 'customize'. The theme will now be available in the 'controls' tab.
good luck :)

If you use xfce, just install the 'gtk-xfce-engine' to get the theme working.
If you use an other wm/de try this:
First you need to run the 'gnome-settings-daemon' (the daemon must be running to use gnome themes so put it in autostart). Then start the 'gnome-theme-manager' to select a theme, like I described before.

I really love how this theme looks on the screen shot, but I am very new to linux and would like to install this theme on my gnome desktop. I need a small tutorial on how to install this time I tried moving the folder i extracted to /home/penguinux/.themes but it won't appear on the theme manager :(
oh! and it would be very nice if you share your wall paper :)
and perhaps the configuration file of your therminal ! it looks fantastic!
thanks in advance!

I finally got this theme installed on gnome ;)
it looks real good!
but I still have some questions about this theme.
I would like to make my apps appear when I right click on my desktop just like in screenshot 2. What do I need to do?
and I would also like to configure my term to look just like on the screenshot!
sorry, just love the theme ;)
