The inspiration for this one comes from Capitol Records, for those of you, like me, who are old enough to remember their black label with the multicolor ring around it on some of their LP's.

If i remove the label for 'pam-prompt'(that is the user/passwd label) then it is fix. but that leaves a box without label. not very nice ps/ i couldnt take a screenshot because my Xnest is not working.

I would recommend that you switch toolbars to "Text Only" from "System -> Appearance -> Toolbar Button Labels" (gnome) and from "User Interface" in "Settings Manager" under XFCE.

e. the mounted drives list on the desktop isn't too good. it contains too much information, most of it unneccary. using the drive's label or name under /mnt should be enough.
