For what it's worth I like it, but I don't see it as a replacement for kicker, but rather an addition for some.

Also, is there a way to control transparency of taskbar items (minimized apps) on the kicker?

& although kicker is not that configurable & lacks in looks but i still prefer it over kxdocker after all its so versatile....hope kde ppl will work on it..... please feel free to drop some suggestion....i am just a beginner...want to enhance looks but not on the cost of performance....

Well, this is it... pretty much OsX inspired KDE 3.2.3, although I tried to make sth at least a bit original - that's why I got rid of entire kicker, something that's been on my mind for a long time.

My current KDE 3 desktop - Screenlets, Cairo-Dock, a customized Dark Glass icon theme, QtCurve, Compiz-Fusion from GIT, and an invisible Kicker panel whose only purpose is to allow Cairo-Dock to bring up Tasty Menu.
