A clean GRUB Splash (Tested: Ubuntu Dapper).

I have seen some great ideas from various different splash screens over the last six months, and I finally decided to come up with my own. I am currently using the Elegance Theme by AlexR1 for my desktop, so this splash just seems to fit in very well. Enjoy!

Here is how to install: put ubuntu.png in ~/.gnome (~ is home) open up Gconf: applications > system tools confi... editor from there goto: apps > gnome-session > options then change splashimage to: /home/youruser_name/.gnome/ubuntu.png now when you log back it will work flawlessly.
