Vista for humans
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work): Add the source-code for this project on opencode.net
I always want brand new shiny vista-like features, but I don't like change. I adapted this theme so that it integrates best in the default Human gnome desktop.
I adapted the colors, fonts, etc of the bars and buttons to fit the default Ubuntu "human" settings, and refined it to be self-consistent.

I tried it but didn't like it too much so I removed it, but it exists. I can upload a screenshot if you want.

But besides that, it's not bad.

The first idea was to suggest another color setting for vista themes that would fit the brown human theme.
Now, next thing to do to improve the theme would be to replace these buttons by something decent, I agree.
Thanks anyway ^^

I don't know why people think vista windeco looks nice. I admit, vista mostly looks nice, but the windeco is ugly.

I don't see you coming up with anything creative.
And to the OP, how did you get it so that you could see the window under the panel? I can't figure out how to do that.

In the "Opacity, Brightness and Saturation" option, tab Opacity, section "Window specific settings", add a filter using "type=Dock" and give an opacity (85 for me). I use "type=Dock | type=Dropdownmenu" to have the same effect on gnome menus, and applets.
Then you can use the "Blur windows" option, set Alpha Blur on, and put "any" in the Alpha blur windows (or at least "type=Dock"). This adds blur to every transparent effect, in particular to your dock.
I'm glad you liked something in my screen shot :), even if that's not the Emerald theme.
