Description:

When I watched Die Hard 4.0 I was intrigued by the theme that Matthew Farrel used in his desktop PC. I managed to get a hold of some images and make a theme based on it.

It's my first Emerald theme I put on the public and my first submission here so hope you like it!!!

It looks best with the Clearlooks_blackblue GTK theme. Maybe I'll make a matching GTK theme soon.

Wallpaper is here (not my work):

Icon theme is gTangish: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/gTangish+2.0+%28or+gTango+2.0%29?content=63851

I've also made a darker, but CyberPunk styled version which I uploaded yesterday, lol.

Should have I asked first? My appologies, it is ok right?

Mine version was designed to work the the Wii-Black GTK theme here

Ok, so I just installed Ubuntu 8 and installed this theme. Now you'll have to bear with me as I'm new tot he whole Ubuntu thing, but whenever I try to open the file with archive manager, it says the file type isn't supported. Is there something else I need to install, or something else I need to open it with? Thanks,
Jon

There's no theme, just an Emerald theme... you know, those window borders (I stated it in the title). For icons and wallpaper you can get it from the description... but eh, I hope to make a .tar.gz theme someday, thanks for the tip.

The color-scheme for/from what?

Report

I think he is talking about the colour scheme for everything within the window i.e. terminal foreground stays at it's original colour and so does the menu for KDE and windows. the only thing that has changed after <emerald --replace> is the borders of the windows decorations (not the buttons, windows background etc.). hope you reply before i figure it out. otherwise thanks to all in advanced for efforts and considerations.
