Bring that Sexiness to It.
An Emerald theme for those looking for something with that modern, alpha blended look, yet distinctly Linux.
A few minimalist sensibilities like the subtler drop shadows, clean window title font, and light borders keep it from overpowering your desktop while tasteful touches of eye candy like the glowing buttons make it a pleasure to close any offending windows ;)
Like the GTK Theme?
The GTK theme, MurrinaMetrosuave is included in the archive. You'll need the Murrine engine installed to use it.
See http://www.cimitan.com/murrine/ , or check your distribution's package repository.

Somatic icons are linked below.

Other Issues
If you're trying to unify the look of your KDE and Gnome apps there is an informative article here:
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Uniform_look_for_QT_and_GTK_apps
If you're using KDE, it may be difficult to make Firefox look like it does in the screenshot. You may be able to make Firefox jive with your current Qt theme, however.
Changelog
0.4 Added button glows, tweaked the look of the frame a bit.

Because I haven't updated this in a while, I've added the PSD source file used to make the icons.
Feel free to mess around and make your own renditions of this theme. I'd appreciate some acknowledgment however!
The psd consists largely of vector layers and various non-destructive edits so you should get a lot of mileage out of it even if it's only to glean a few layer effect ideas.
The license has also changed to LGPL.

You've just stumbled upon one of the big annoyances of having competing desktop environments and their associated api's (GTK+ and Qt) - visual inconsistency. There isn't really a de-facto solution, but a quick google search yielded some possibilities:
http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/gtk-kde4?content=74689
http://gtk-qt.ecs.soton.ac.uk/screenshots.php
But these look to be aimed at making your GTK apps look like Qt apps - not installing GTK themes. In either case, your QT apps won't have the striped bars look (which is a Murrine thing).
Another option is:
http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=40492
Which provides a unified engine for both GTK and Qt apps. Again, won't look like the screenshot - so you'll have customize it independently to suit your tastes.
But in any case, Emerald is the same on either KDE or Gnome, so the sexy window decorations will continue to function and look the same.
Any other suggestions from KDE users?

I have installed both, GTK and emerald theme...
The theme is super hot nevertheless. Loved it very much.
Thanks for the hard work. Really appreciated.

I've you've got Ubuntu, open up synaptic in administrative options, search for "murri" (not sure if it's 'ine or 'ina' ;)
Something relevant and self-evident should show up ;)
Otherwise, the author's website is: http://www.cimitan.com/murrine/

Their logo had the honor of appearing along with Tool's and the Grateful Dead's in Alex Grey's 100th birthday painting for Hoffman - can't give the band a better endorsement than that ;)

I was beginning to think that I was in a theme-park for the 'color-blind and 'vistally-disabled. :)
The Metrosuave theme is a nice compromise that's pleasing to the eyes without being so damn boring.
It’s quite a reprieve from all the rest of the billions and billions of (Carl Sagan here) billions upon billions of ‘mind-numbing blue and insipid 'Copy-Cat Vista themes that run rampant here in the Beryl Blue-ew Universe.
