Yes, I'll probably change that. There are various reasons why I did it as it is in Clearlooks, but it doesn't really work well with the new style anymore. Mostly because the buttons are darker now.

Maybe I'll also experiment with putting a shadow or black outline behind the icons.

I think the unfocused window looks weird. The black line below the title bar doesnt look right. What if you lightend it up or what happens if you not draw it.

thanks 2.0.1 is nice.

What about adding a light shadow on the focused title bar buttons?

What do you think?

My only complain with ALOT of themes is the rounded edges on the window borders.. not that i dont like rounded edges, i do like them... but for some reason we can never get smooth rounded edges why is that? is it GTK? is it metacity? is it the software used to design the graphic(s)?

oh well just my 2 cents about rounded edges in linux..

nice theme tho :)

That's because we don't have real window transparency yet. This problem can technically only be fixed with help of the composite extension, so we'll need a little more patience. :) It will get there.

..job drawing the buttons on code instead of using pixmaps!

My only issue is a 24px titlebar with the default 10 font size (I think that's default), but that's easily changed. Thanks for the theme!

Yeah, the scalability is my favorite feature of metacity. I actually used a font size of 11 before, but with the wide buttons, 10 is just right for me. I can see how it can be too large for some especially on lower resolutions, but at least it's not as huge as XP titlebars. :)

This looks great! Any chance of one with squared corners?

This looks an awful lot like http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=32167 but without the red close button (which I quite like) - Any relation?

I noticed the similarity shortly after I had the initial concept done, so it probably influenced me subconsciously. Of course the chrome effect is very common these days and also the light inner outline on the buttons (see Tango, Vista, etc).
