Description:

Simple Video encoder, that creats MP4/AAC 480×272 videos with .THM thumbnails.

Limitations:
Can only be used on local videos, with write permission, since it creats the MP4 and THM right there where the video original was. Therefor right now, it can't convert videos, that already have .mp4 extension. (They should be renamed .mpeg4, .avi etc.)

Packages it needs:
zenity
totem-gstreamer
mencoder

How to install?:
Copy the file to ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts, and make it executable. (chmod +x pspencode)

Nice work, but for me zenity slow down a lot the encoding...
So in your script, i have kicked zenity, and its very faster.
You can still know when the encoding its over, because it creates the .thm ^^

And also, the script doesn't like the spaces in directories and file names.

Good work

yeah, zennity does slow it down... i kinda dunno what to do, since it should somehow notify the user, that the script is still runing...

i got the bug with special characters in filenames fixed... but I'm still working on it, before the new version

btw, I'm also working on a similiar fronted for ciso
