I was looking for an easy way to extract a deb file and have a basic way to add to it, or tweak it, and here is what I was able to come up with (along with help through the Ubuntu Forums :P).
There are two scripts involved, one to extract the deb file, along with tweaking it's contents into the appropriate folders for remaking once desired, and the other for remaking it. Just right click the deb file, or files, and select the 'Deb-Extractor.sh' script first. Then once you've tweaked whatever, right click the deb again (not the folder with the same name) and select the 'Deb-Remaker.sh' script.
(I added a 'Deb-Installer.sh' script on GNOME-Look as well if you want to use it after these. http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Deb-Installer.sh?content=129855)
I'm sure there isn't too much need for this, but I figured it'd be nice for some. Enjoy.
To Install:
- Just extract and add the scripts to your nautilus-scripts folder '~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts'
