Rename the file "gimp-splash.png"
than copy in /usr/share/gimp/images

(use sudo command to have root permission)

Yeah I like BOTH lol

This splash put me in good mood every time I need to use Gimp, I can't explain it in other way sorry

the easier way to install this is to put it in /home/***/.gimp*/splashes/

this doesn't require root permission. (u need to make ~/splashes/

btw, good splash screen, too :-)
