I originally made this only to use personally, but since I can't program I decided to share it with the community to try to give a little bit back.

This has only been tested for Karmic Ubuntu Netbook Remix which uses xsplash. I doubt the formatting will work correctly if your settings are anything other than those defaults. You may need to manually rescale the images to properly fit your settings. If I have enough requests I will submit an update with more sizes.

Instructions:

Unzip the archive. Go to /usr/share/images/xsplash and backup the identically named files there. Copy the unzipped files to that folder.

Notes:
throbber_small.png is just a copy of Ubuntu's default. It is included just in case.
The Japanese text reads "ubuntu".
The background is "The Great Wave" by Hokusai.

Thanks for the heads up. It should be working now that I switched hosts. I apologize in advance for the new host: Badongo. They make you wait awhile to download and the popups can be bad. I went with them since they have free 12gb/day limits. Please post a comment if this host ends up being no good. Thanks!
