I like this but two things:

The blue text box is really blue for me (rather than the turquoise in your screenshot), which looks ugly with everything else. I commented out "quiet" from menu.lst to at least see if it'll hide the blue box, but the text never showed up.

Second thing is I really liked the "Most powerful Operating System..." but I see you took it out. :(

I'm using Jaunty.

Other than that, good stuff!

sorry but after upgrade to ubuntu jaunty (9.04) is not working anymore.

From synaptic install "startupmanager"; is an usplash manager.

Open this program and import usplash-linux-system.so that is located into usplash-linux-system.tar.gz

that's all
