I did not create this, but i liked the GDM so much i edited it so it had a splash screen to accompany it

If you enable the auto-login with countdown the shown text is like "user linux will be logged in at :d seconds"

Why don't you put the penguin in the middle of the splash instead of the left side and leaving a useless space in the right? i think it would be better, nice work :)

I think it looks good. It might be better if it maybe had a loading bar in the right side of the screen though.

It's awesome though.

It is GPL, when the creater of the GDM put it out under the GPL, you should do so too :)
