Hi!

I installed the unstable usplash package on debian etch (with all dependencies) and followed the wiki-tutorial on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/USplashCustomizationHowto
(only steps 1 and 3-5 with the pre-compiled file from here) but at boottime it only says (*lots* of times):

open: No such file or directory

what could be the problem?

Thank you,

juan

I added directions to the description above. follow the directions and all should be well. Make sure you have usplash installed and working correctly first though.
