Hello, I tried to install this masterpiece, but by the time I tried to put it in to /usr/share/gimp/2.0/images it said that I dont have the permission to do this. Someone know what do I have to do?. Thank your for your help!

I know this is a long time after your post but this is how: in terminal type in 'sudo nautilus' then navigate to that location and do your dirt work... afterwards exit the nautilus browser first and then the terminal. I think technically you are supposed to use gksudo but I always just use sudo and it works fine.

Nice work. Looks very professional. You get 3 thumbs up from me.

In reply to the previous post,

rename the downloaded image to gimp-splash.png. The move it to /usr/share/gimp/"version no."/images.

for e.g., mine is /usr/share/gimp/2.0/images.
