I like your usplash screen, but when I want to download it, I get an error:
"Download doesn't exist".

For whom this theme doesn't work, try compiling it from source, (That what I had to do )
The load bar is glitchy a bit (blinking once in a while) but that's minor, so definitely worth trying!

it just wont show when i boot.
if i type sudo usplash into terminal the screen goes black then returns to the desktop.
im pretty sure i followed your instructions completely so i dont see why it isnt working.
im running hardy by the way

But when using the verbose mode the security check of vfat formated hard discs go beyond the scobe of the textarea.
I also have this problem with my own splash screen and heaven't found a solution yet.

However I suggest you to try giving more space to the textarea, particulary to the
.status_width parameter.
Usually I always saw it set beetween 15 and 25 but you can try increasing it to 40 and see if something changes..
