Description:

This usplash is an adaptation of the Wallpaper BlackChrome. Author: silence07 Licence :GPL

It seemed to me ideal to adapt it to the usplah theme.
This is the colorized version in blue, red, brown, and green, at the request of some people.

The format is an .so usplash in Ubuntu/kubuntu

This uspash work with:
1024x768 (4:3)
1024x576 (16:9)
800x600 (4:3)

For easy install use:

Hi I love you USplash, but I need it in this resolution: 1366x768.
I want to install it on my Ubuntu 9.04 and Im a newbie in Ubuntu so I need some information about how to install it.

It will look awesome with my Wallpaper. So let me know if you will help me with this.

beforehand thank you very much.

I just forgot to say that the one I like is t0eh blue one, so you do not have to resize all of them. Sorry!

I downloaded the file to ~/Downloads directory, then on that directory I issued command on terminal "tar zxvf filename.tar.gz" then I have "filename.so" at the end. I used Startup manager to add more usplash. Guess what happened? Instead of showing the splash screen I want, it's showing running text until login screen. (I'm installing it on Intrepid)
Can you please show me what's wrong and how to make it work. I love your work.
Thanks.

Hi

do you mind adding a 640x480 version to use on smaller screens like netbooks

Thanks

Could you make a 1280x1024 version, please? It's a shame downscaling the resolution on a 19'' TFT. Also, a non-colorized version would be cool (a silver one)!

I found the silver version, but still, what about a 1280x1024 one?

Great themes but do you think you could make a 64bit version like you did for the non colorized version?
