The new Ubuntu Humanity/Mono icon set from upcoming Lucid Lynx, packaged for Debian. Goes very well with Ambiance/Radiance GTK2 themes:

The tar file includes two deb packages for Debian, you need to install both (at least mono depends on humanity icon set).
Again, build from Ubuntu sources, all credits go to the original authors! (I just replaced the Ubuntu logo with Debian's.)

Thank you for making this great icon theme available for Debian too. I have been looking for this quite a while.

I would like to ask you one question: Could you give me some advices how to get started making deb files? I have been reading lots of tutorials but I still don't quite get it. So any advices would be highly appreciated.

First of all: you're welcome! :-)

I'm no pro when it comes to building deb packages myself. I'd recommend starting off with maybe updating packages to newer software releases? Concerning this icon package I took other icon packages and then modified them a little to make everything work with the new icons. So, get your hands on the debian directory of a package which contains similar stuff and try to adapt it! Like "apt-get source whatever-package" and take a look at the files within the "debian" sub directory. Good luck!

An Icon Theme should have a valid .theme file among its files and aim to be complete for desktop use under Gnome or KDE Plasma.

If it contains only a single icon or a small set of icons, please use the Icon Sub-Sets or Single Icon/Logo categories instead.
