This release is loaded will all kinds of whoopass. This is that next level that shows why elementary is different from the competition. More and better monochromes, more and better mimetypes, more and better apps. Not to mention this release marks the start of an effort to have every icon from 16px to 128px
As always, Donations much appreciated.

monochrome doesn't work on dark panels!
Don't worry, I'll have a version for dark panels in the future. But, for now it's light panels only :)

I download it but gnome-archiver can't unpackage. I try in terminal but I get it:
Quote:$ tar zxvf ~/Pobrane/elementary.tar.gz
tar: This does not look like a tar archive
tar: Skip to the next header
tar: End of an error state due to previous errors
something is wrong with this package?
BTW:In download link's writes: '(elementary Icons on DeviantArt)' but the link leads to ubuntu launchpad. I use launchpad (most users probably too:)) you could put the actual deb package?
PS. Elementary is my favorit icon theme. Thanks for your work :)

I fixed the link ;)
The deb package isn't updated yet! Hopefully within a couple of days.

I've added a new monochrome set for elementary, but if you want the Ubuntu logo you'll have to either copy it from Humanity or just use Humanity :p

do you have an idea when the "grey tray icons" version will come out? would be cool if it would also include tasque, pidgin and skype icons...
can't wait to have it, using humanity now because of the grey icons!

I'll do an initial release for Christmas and eventually I'll most likely deprecate the colored version.

You said it's in the bazaar branch, so could you tell me how to download it using bzr in ubuntu?

The problem goes away when I set the theme to inherit from gnome-colors (e.g. gnome-brave) first, rather than gnome.

I can't figure out how to make it work! I've followed all the instructions and I still can't make it work. Perhaps there is someone who can be a packager for elementary art team on launchpad?

About polishing, the monitor icon is a bit shinier than the rest of the theme, and also I would like to see your touch on the buttons (play, stop, FF, FB...) maybe different colors ?
And the last thing, is your color palette for sharing??

I've been getting a lot of request for that. I'll experiment with it, but I'm not sure exactly what I can offer there.
Ah, I don't actually have a real color palette ;) It's all just kind of done by my personal taste. But, feel free to make whatever based on the colors in these icons :D

In fact, a lot of syncing between Humanity and this theme will happen before the next release.
Right now, I'm just focusing on the polishing of what I have now, leading up to 3.0 which I hope will have every icon currently available in every size.
Also, I'm going to try and perfect those beautiful monochrome icons. I want to make sure that elementary has an un-paralleled experience for those.
