A red and gray theme. i tried to use only symbolic colors or white and black so as to make changing the theme to a different palette easy

I like this theme very very much, because I love red and I appreciate the combination grey/red so much.
But I've a problem with your theme: in many application the text is invisible, because the background and the text are both white.
How can I resolve this problem?
My system is Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin and I use Unity.
Please help me, because I want use your theme as soon as possible!
