There are two versions of the themes:
- Version 4.0 for Ubuntu 13.04.
- Version 2.7 for Ubuntu 12.10 (I wont update this version anymore because I can't test it).
I made some changes to the originals Ambiance and Radiance Themes, and I added some new color versions too. I'm using textures to give the themes a different look.
The theme contains:
1) AmbianceP: original ambiance with some changes.
2) AmbiancePDark, AmbiancePDarkBlue and AmbiancePDarkGreen: darker Ambiance with some changes.
3) RadianceP: Original Radiance with some changes.
4) RadiancePMetal, RadiancePMetalOrange, RadiancePMetalGreen: a grey version of Radiance.
5) RadiancePCalm: a green version of Radiance with low contrast.
6) AmbiancePNight, AmbiancePNightBlue and AmbiancePNightGreen: a really dark version of Ambiance.
7) RadiancePG, RadiancePGOrange, RadiancePGGreen: a very light theme based on Google Plus theme.
----------------------------------------
FIREFOX PERSONAS:
I created Personas (themes) for Firefox and Thunderbird maching the AmbiancePDark, AmbiancePNight, AmbianceP and RadiancePMetal styles. You can find them in:
AmbiancePDark and AmbiancePNight: https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/ambiancepdark/
RadiancePMetal: https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/radiancepmetal/
AmbianceP:https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/ambiancep/
RadiancePCalm: https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/ambiancep/
CHROMIUM AND CHROME THEMES
For AmbiancePDark, AmbiancePNight, RadiancePMetal and RadiancePCalm: Inside there are folders named Chromium with the chromium theme file. Just drag and drop this file into Chromium's address bar and aply the theme.
ICONS:
I strongly recommend the amazing FS Icons Ubuntu made by franksouza183. In my opinion, it is the best icon set, and it also has different colors. You can download it from http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/FS+Icons+Ubuntu?content=147048
Note: the window buttons used in RadiancePMetal are from the Faience Theme made by tiheum (http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Faience?content=154949).
Note2: The texture used in RadiancePCalm is based on one created by Webtreats (http://webtreats.mysitemyway.com/).

But I want to make one little request:
I like the theme "AmbiancePNightGreen" because everything is dark. But I don't like the metal.
Could you make a "RadiancePGreen" in a similar, dark way? ( That means AmbiancePNightGreen without the metal, with a Radiance windowborder)
That would make this theme perfect for me.

But I wonder why I still have Orange selection color, etc. in Blue variants although your screenshots look OK.
And a few remaining issues:
1) Grey toolbar bgcolor in medit, etc. (gtk2 apps?) in AmbianceP themes, although RadianceP themes don't have this problem.
2) Incomplete Synaptic toolbar bgcolor in all themes.
3) Making Chrome/Chromium tabbar bgcolor sames as titlebar without applying a special theme.

Also, Chrome should look ok with the base theme (there is no need to apply the separate theme file). I'm using the file you sent me, with little tweaks.
I still could not fix the synaptic issue. Don't know how, but will keep trying.

Again the solution was installing the themes to user directory, i.e. under ~/.themes
After this, the remaining issues are only:
1) Toolbar bgcolor not matching titlebar bgcolor ONLY in AmbiancePDark themes and not in AmbiancePNight or RadianceP themes
2) Synaptic toolbar (perhaps makers of Greybird and MediterraneanNight themes which don't have this problem might be willing to share their secret ;-)

Almost all the others had a number of serious problems in my system. For example, AmbiancePDark menus are completely invisible, even hover/selection items (also, blue unity panel doesn't go well with the rest especially when apps are maximized).
Another good one --with very few problems-- is RadiancePCalm. I only encountered a weird problem in the Tools menu of several applications (most menu items there were invisible). And I would also like to suggest that Ambiance/Radiance buttons and orange color doesn't look like a good match for the main green color in this theme.

AmbiancePDark looks perfect now!
I hope you can also do a Blue version (e.g. AmbiancePDarkBlue ?) with Blue close button, blue selection background, etc, like the old Ambiance Blue theme.

I'm glad you like the themes. I agree, the orange/gray buttons in RadiancePCalm doesn't look good, and I will try to change them soon.
I will work in a blue version of AmbiancePDark (I received your message but couldnt view it yet).

1) Adding a little more space to the right of title bar buttons as a couple of pixels are cut off from the right edges of prelight & pressed buttons.
2) Making the background of title bar buttons the same as the rest of title bar as it is now a much lighter shade of grey.
3) Making the background of menu bar the same as the title bar as it is now a much lighter shade of grey (as above).
4) Synaptic Package Manager toolbar background color is white in the Quick filter area as well as the blank area on the right.
5) Google Chrome/Chromium tab bar background color should also be the same as title bar and it shouldn't be necessary to use a special theme for this.
Also, I think it might be good idea to split this project into two as AmbianceP and RadianceP.
Thanks once again for this nice work.

Items 1) and 2) are currently on my punch list. I will try to fix them soon.
I don't understand what you mean in item 3). Can you please upload a screenshot showing that? (maybe to the ubuntuone service)
Items 4) and 5) are more difficult. Chromium doesn't seem to be following the GTK theme.
I will consider splitting up the project in two.

What program are you using to change the theme? Can you select it? What happen when you select it?
Is RadiancePMetal the only one that doesn't work?

2) RadiancePMetal is the only one that "doesn't work".
3) Actually, it seems metacity is OK, but probably the problem with GTK theme is invisible (white) text, e.g. can't see the text in Gnome Tweak Panel, Nautilus window, etc.

Witch OS version are you using? Because these themes will only work properly on Ubuntu 12.10 or 13.04 (or anything else based on gnome 3.6). They will not work properly on Ubuntu 12.04 (because it uses an older version of gnome), nor in Gnome 3.8
