In fact

rm -rf /

turns out to be much more - let's say - effective if you're root while doing it.

And don't forget rm -rf / means "Read Mail really fast" ;-)

I think this is quite funny.
You have to be root though, to use the "r"-option, dont't you?

no not to use either of those options -r just means recursive and -f means force.
