Description:

My first shot at creating SVG files using Inkscape. Seeing as I use Gentoo GNU/Linux I thought it a fitting place to start for a wallpaper. Feel free to download the SVG files and edit them to your liking. I've included 1 with, and 1 without, the kicker background, plus a screenshot of what it looks like in conjunction with a tranparent Kicker and Taskbar V2.0.

Using: Mozilla Firefox, Konqueror, Torsmo, Kicker, Taskbar V2.0 applet, Clock applet, Pager applet, Devices applet, Kbiff, Kmix & Kopete

This has a clean uncluttered look, great stuff.

The little app in the bottom left is Torsmo. It's an awesome little monitoring app the doesn't get in the way and draws to the root window. It just overlays whatever wallpaper you currently have. The text color and fonts etc are customizable. I find it gets in the way less that Gkrellm and the like. Very tiny program too!

yeah, I would like to know that to. I have seen that application on a live cd before but couldn't figure out what it was called. By the way very nice wallpaper.
