Let's just try this again ;)
Nodoka elements are removed. I've come to realize these added asthetic benefits of nodoka are outweighed by new users ability to install the theme. All nodoka styles reverted to murrine. This should be easier to install now for the masses. :)
A modern refresh to the Human look utilizing the best aspects of various engines. This truly creates an original asthetically pleasing desktop theme. The theme is dark, but just dark enough to contrast with the bg_color adding subtle hints of orange/peach. This stays true to the Ubuntu look using some of the past favorite colors with a new twist. Clean and something you have not seen before.
*** Many thanks to the support of the various community members whose input have helped shape the design of the theme. All of their suggestions are making this theme progress quite nicely in the spirit of Ubuntu. Contrary to popular belief, brown can still be beautiful. ;)
The GDM and wallpaper submitted by mickyz integrate very well with this theme.

I too, have removed Nodoka from eGTK. I'm going to have to look in your theme to see how you got your scrollbars in that style. Mine still aren't how I want them.
Maybe for the sliders, try the circles instead of the bars. I don't know why, but I've always felt they look more classy :)
Keep up the good work. Karmic needs a new look!

I origially had Breathe in mind for this theme, but while testing Humanity icon set for kwiii for possible inclusion in Karmic, I loved how well the set integrated and redesigned accordingly. The saturation of Breathe integrated better with Human and some of my darker themes.
I'm hoping Humanity makes it in for a possible replacement or alternative to Human. I'm also wishful that the community is receptive to Redux and possible inclusion as a community theme.
I will add those suggestions later and keep up the good work as well.

And if you get a chance, pull from trunk. I modified a few aspects of the theme to integrate with Humanity.
Let me know of this is better for you?
Thanks for the feedback.
I truly want to make this a great theme and believe it has the potential of change the community has been longing for quite some time.
