Description:

DarkTech Gtk engine based on this mockup: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Dark+Tech?content=81522
Looks best with dark themes but als usable with light ones.
Constructive comments are always welcome!

As you can see in the screenshots, the engine has some options, that are explained in the gtkrc.

I hope you like it.

it's very nice, BUT...why automake 1.7 and not 1.10.1?! witch is the default on both fedora 9 and opensuse 11.0. You have to mess with the dependecies just to get a theme working.
PS: And if the info is correct(from the gnu website) the bz2 arhives for automake 1.7 where created in 2002 and the ones for automake 1.10.1 in 2008, witch means that 1.7 is really old.

I think that every "how to" should be made for any novice. This can be a very good tool for motivate the people to start in the World of Linux, in this case in Gnome.
Please put in the install how to, that first is necessary to be sure to have the ultimate version of Automake 1.7.x and the Libtool for compile the engines. Links for the deb packages could be very helpful.
And for run the autogen.sh, first is necessary to cd in the respective unzip folder ;)

The progress bars look really nice, i think you chose the right tone of green. :) There seems to be a problem with the fonts, as they look blurry on the grey-ish background.

do you mean the text on the disabled widgets?

I think the prblem is with the active(?) combo box and option buttons. The font looks ok on the light grey, but like you're seeing double on the dark or (red) coloured backcground.

Theme looks nice, but some of the fonts make me feel like I've had too many beers. If you can fix that, very nice.

got this error on xubuntu hardy after autogen.sh:
config.status: error: cannot find input file: Makefile.in

normally the Makefile.in file is automatically created from Makefile.am by automake.

i needed to play with makefiles a little bit and then i managed to install it somehow. Needed to copy Makefile from the folder "engine" and then run make.
