Description:

This is the first alpha release of the Aqualooks cairo based GTK theme engine. Though this is not feature complete yet and bit buggy, I'm releasing this due to increasing demand and I always respect the community.

Note:
There are 2 critical issues at the moment I've identified and trying to fix.
Gnumeric and wxDFast giving segmentation faults.

This theme is just down right beautiful. Great work. Nice to see someone trying to make a real Mac Aqua interface. Please, don't be like the other guys and change somethings in it, keep it as close as possible to the real Mac Aqua interface theme :)

WOW.I have never used a mac, but I always like to try cairo gtk engines. Your work is awesome. I hope to see a stable version soon.

There is a consisntent crash when using the gnome-panel menu (click on the applications menu). Also, the rendering of the tabs is quite impressive, very clean, however with some apps (try opening tabs in gnome-terminal) the rendering is incorrect.

Keep working.

Hi, I tried your engine on Ubuntu Dapper but it always crash gnome-panel during the loading.
How can I help you to know where is the bug ?

However this engine is really nice, good job! ;)

it looks nice overall, just want to point you that tabs in certain applications such as Epiphany (GNOME's default web browser) look a bit weird, but this is alpha, and I guess you knew that bug existed already. Also, as soon as I use the themes, my gnome panel flashes as it kinda tries to restart itself infinitely; maybe that's because I did not use the Menu Bar Trick? Hope this helps you. Cheers!

My compliments thus far. It definitely has a clean look and resembles quite closly the interface for OS X.

I am usually not one for trying to take another OS/environment's interface design, however this definitely shows well.

One thing I have always liked in OS X was the system menu bar. Just one menu for all apps. No individual menu bars strown across windows for File Edit View, etc.

How did you get it working for Gnome?
