Description:

MurrinaCrystal theme, based on the great murrine engine (SVN) only.

Please leave a comment if you must vote bad, so that I can improve it, thanks in advance!

Note: The latest Murrine engine from SVN/GIT or Ver. 0.90.2+ is highly recommended!

Thank Suraia for packing the murrine engine (svn) for ubuntu.

And for Archers, you will find gtk-engine-murrine-git/gtk-engine-murrine in the AUR/Community repo.

You cannot make everyone happy. But it's good to see you are trying.

So you don't care for a glossy toolbar :)
But don't worry, I won't mess up the current style, I may add a new theme called, um , murrina glossy or sth like that.
Anyway, thanks for your advice.

What is the asian one ?

Well, that is a font combined with the dejavu family by myself, not legal to distribute, it's called zhunyuan from the Chinese Founder Group.
BTW, do you speak Chinese?

Now that we have a Human theme, I would really like a Murrina Crystalux ... Or something like that ! ;)

Or, if you explain well enough your gtkrc file, I should be able to start learning and do it myself.

Please, either way, help !

Why not :) It's a good idea to name it crystalux.
So, lux is a dark and flat theme, I'm currently working on another dark one, so called murrina midnight. If you like, you can use the code and creat your own LUX.

Actually, it's not that hard to understand, I've put some comments in it, but you might want to take a look at the theme tutorials @ gnome live first:
http://live.gnome.org/GnomeArt/Tutorials/GtkThemes/

Good luck with Murrina CrystaLux!

IMHO the first release was the better one

People say that first impressions are strongest... just kidding. I think it didn't change that much since the first release, except for the lighter bg, 2 new button styles and some other minor changes, oh and a new human theme.

You mean glowstyle = 3 and glow_shade = 2.0 for the theme MurrinaCrystalLine (I admit this name is kinda stupid)?

I use the Human-Version and of course I like it more with all 24,24 ;) It's a very very nice Theme, only I don't use Emerald ... never. Is here a possibility to include a Metacity in your Theme? Thank you for your Theme :)

Sorry, I don't know how to creat a metacity theme, but I can recommend you two nice metacity themes, one is unity, it should be on your disk, the other is aurora, included in the official aurora engine.

I think it is not so difficult, but okay I installed Emerald for enjoying your decoration ;) Yepp, nice modern Human feeling :) If you want you can explain how peoples can change the sizes of the Icons. So I changed them for example to 24x24. Not everybody knows how to change it ... very good theme ;)

it is 4 pixels away from the border, I don't have rhythmbox handy, you can test it for me:
edit gtkrc, find GtkTreeView::horizontal-separator = 8, change it between 2 and 8.
please tell me which number looks better.

2 or 3 pixels more left, rhythmbox (play, pause, ...) is now not well ;) sry

Congratulations! The "humanized" theme is the most beautiful Ubuntu-like theme I have ever seen. I've installed it at once. Didn't think such a beauty would be possible with the "small" Murrine engine.

What icon theme did you use in the "humanized" screenshot? It suits quite good!

Thank you!
The icons are hydroxygen, a really wonderful gnome port of oxygen from kde.
