Description:

MurrinaCrystal theme, based on the great murrine engine (SVN) only.

Please leave a comment if you must vote bad, so that I can improve it, thanks in advance!

Note: The latest Murrine engine from SVN/GIT or Ver. 0.90.2+ is highly recommended!

Thank Suraia for packing the murrine engine (svn) for ubuntu.

And for Archers, you will find gtk-engine-murrine-git/gtk-engine-murrine in the AUR/Community repo.

I agree actual style looks better than WIP screenshot 3 to me too. Progress and scroll bars are indeed more unique :).
Very good theme !
Happy new year !

Alright, since you guys hate the WIP one, I won't make it.
I just played with gradient_shades option, and it was fun, will upload newer version today, hope you like it.

now i'm testing this under mint 6 with last murrine-svn (107) and it looks great!

only 1 thing: in evolution, column headers are not completely visible. the bottoms are covered by the first line of emails...

PS: sorry for my "google translate" english...

It's ok, would you please paste a screenshot somewhere?
To be honest, Evolution is one of those who don't make full use of gtk features, e.g. firefox, openoffice. Thus, someone would hack on gtkrc files to get rid of such annoying problems.

OK, I just found a workaround in one of Cimi's Murrina theme: add
# Workarounds for Evolution
widget_class "*.ETable.ECanvas" style "theme-tree"
widget_class "*.ETree.ECanvas" style "theme-tree"
to the bottom of gtkrc.
Please let me know it works, cuz I don't use evolution.

I too had problems but a simple restart fixed everything. (I assume a log-out & in again will work as well.)

I installed murrine svn 107 revisions but theme is still not like it should be :
1- square button for firefox theme
2- progress bars
3- highligths in main menu
4- scroll bars

Which murrine svn version are you using ?

Work since your update :) !
Beautiful theme. Perhaps only point that I could see (but that may not be agreed by others) is the presence of discrete animation for progress bars and discrete lighting "animation" by clicking on scroll bars.
Anyway, I love this theme.

great theme!
just one problem: I installed last murrine-svn (in archlinux) but when I try your theme i get a REALLY ugly theme with 80s-style widget...
so... what??

Hey, I'm an Archer,too :)
You can find the gtkrc problems by run
any gtk application in your terminal, it will point out which line is wrong.
Actually, this gtkrc does has some wrong option names due to the latest updates, will fix it later.

Thank you guys, glad you all like it (and voted it good, too;-)), Murrina Crystal is ATM in its alpha state, I promise it will get better.

And also thanks Cimi for your awesome engine, can't make this happen without your hard work.

This is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and I'm glad to see the radial glow's been added into Murrine SVN. Nice you and Cimi.

One problem:

Both this and Cimi's mod of it give me an unthemed panel. Not even the default Murrine panel. How do I change this?
