Description:

Old "Hooli" is back again.

If you ask me, why did you update this discontinued theme, my answer is
"money is the motivation" LOL
(don't care about it if you can't understand what I'm trying to say)


Shell theme only.

GTK+ theme is COMING SOON.
Because old gtk+ version has lot of issues.
So I have to fix them and make compatible for gtk 3.24.

As always, hooli is completely based on glorious theme "Adapta".

NB :

"hooli" name is given by the name of a company in HBO's "Silicon Valley" American teledrama. I think "hooli" name is owned by HBO (Home Box Office).

New hooli logo is created by modifying "Rotrorica" icons theme for Android.

hi, the theme is beautiful, but unfortunately it is unusable with firefox. the menus and dialogs are completely transparent and entry fields are unreadable. is there a way to fix this?

Nice theme, but with a recent update of Cinnamon, the desktop menu is transparent (screenshot: https://framapic.org/gallery#7PU46PihOTJE/MjmIvW2qzaz4.png,0F181MOFjDjU/i7swGBZrWsOE.png)
Can you fix that ? Others themes don't have this problem...

This is a beautiful theme, but I have a few issues. Firstly, my desktop has changed to a blank image that I cannot seem to do anything about. It is the blue color of the the theme highlights. I can see the desktop image when in the search area, but not on the desktop. Also, in Firefox all of the text entry boxes are that dark blue color, and the font is barely visible. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Well, if honestly, this is not my default theme for now but increased size of the close button from original Adapta theme is really masterful idea. Really. Actually i spent so much time in for the searching of title bar with bigger buttons but all i can found is those huge HiDpi ones...well, i have no problems with my eyes but i think is really convenient to have big and bright close button which is still small and quiet when inactive. This difference helps me to quicker close the windows because subconsciously i know when "the target is reached" :) actually i have found place to make that button even bigger with a 3 pixels(x&y) increase, this is the limit because now button reaches borders of the title bar.
Anyone who is interested to do so, here's the quick way for that - from the directory ~/usr/share/themes/Hooli/xfwm4/ into the photo editor XnView select "close-prelight.png" icon and resize it to 31x35 (originally was 28x32) and it's done. Really worth do so and thank you umayanga for such a practical idea!

I've never used xfce. And also this theme is discontinued.
I'm really sorry bro.

I'm trying to install this theme on my ubuntu 16.04. opening nautilus and extracting the files into ~/.themes but when i open gnome tweak tool there is no the Hooli theme into Gtk+ themes. Can you please tell me what i'm doing wrong?

Right click the zip file and click extract here.
Then open extracted folder and copy "Hooli" folder to ~/.themes.
(If you're already open the gnome tweak tool, close it and re-open it)
Now check the GTK+ themes list.

Turn on "Global dark theme" in Gnome tweak tool.

Then close all windows and. Press "Alt+F2", Type "r", Then press enter.
Or log out and log in.

Then you can change to light theme. But I think it's not transparent.

I use bookmarks beside address bar on Firefox, and I think there's a issue on hovering:
