Btw, I'd like to ask/suggest you something, since you have skills
Would you consider to make a disk activity applet/tray icon ?
Something very slick on graphics: a desaturaded hdd icon which saturate when a disk read/write occour.
Since nowadays many laptops ship (but also remote machines I think) with no HDD led, this would be great.
Excellence would be an ubuntu-style-notification (icon only) which occours when disk activity lasts long (great way to infrm user that eventual glitches he may encounter are related to heavy disk activity)

i would like know what is the process name of the applet (widget), i want to fit my skinned panel and it only displays grey background on my dark panel
i m unable to find the name of the widget to make a new rule into gtkrc
