Description:

this is an idea i came up with after messing around with my conky. i drew some hardware in Gedit and put information on it from conky and voila: here's the result. hope you guys like it.

i started with a theme i got here: http://linuxowns.wordpress.com/2008/04/04/create-a-custum-conky-setup/ so it looks a lot like it for now, and credit goes to linuxowns for making that. i made everything that is not in that one. (btw it's not copyrighted right? o.o)

Edit:
bored so i added some different colors: blue, green, red, and yellow.

note: second screenshot is weird cause i had to crop it to make it less that 300kb ;)

What should I put before the text you have in the "Conky Text" file cause it doesn't work... I copy and paste the text you have in there and in run it but it just displays few lines on the desktop and it crashes.

Could you possible tell me what I have to change or comment out to get it to only see one CPU?

I get the following error:

Conky: attempting to use more CPUs than you have!
obj->data.cpu_index 2 info.cpu_count 1

hehe, ironic how most of the theme is INSIDE a box (yes i know it's a crappy ASCII computer case, i'm not sure how to make it better, suggestions would be appreciated though), anyway, thanks! hehe pretty good feedback for my first submission ;)

I never would've thought to use ASCII art like that.
