Hello,

May I add your theme to the server of Cairo-Dock ?

Of course, it would be great, if it's in CD's themes' repo :)

Ok !
I have compressed your theme (by removing all things which isn't used) but there is a strange bug with the themes manager of Cairo-Dock...
In fact two files (_RightDock_.conf and _LeftDock_.conf) are mysteriously not copied with the command "cp -R * ~/.config/cairo-dock/current_theme/" !
But all is ok if you extract (or copy) the theme to this current_theme repertory by yourself !

Once this bug is fixed, your theme will be integrated.
Pending, this theme is available here : http://themes.cairo-dock.org/themes/OK_new/Elementary_Dragonfly.tar.gz

PS : It's maybe better if you use the Theme Manager to package your theme (with this option). For exemple, there are your mail adresses in the mail plug-in... (but when you load your theme these informations are deleted ;-) )

This bug is fixed!
A new release will be added on the repositories tonight. Your theme will be added in http://themes.cairo-dock.org/themes/ with the name Elementary_Dragonfly because "Elementary" is already used ;-)

Thanks for your theme!

PS : in your package : you can remove all repertories available in extras/gauges/elementary/ (a old bug in the theme manager :-) )

Hi when I try to install the ubuntu edition I get the following error:

Dependency is not satisfiable:cairo dock

What does this mean??

Thx

Report

C

HATRED

the dependency is cairo-dock from the original maintainers (repository.cairo-dock.org or mine)
it means if you don't have it, it will install it, or if you cant install CD, so some dependency of CD is not satisfied. Check it again ;)

Hi

Nice job ;) but I would just to say that there are some files not useful in your tarball :
* In "Extra", you can remove all repertories except "gauges/elementary/", "dustbin" and "mail".
* You can use symbolics links with same file
* In "plug-ins/switcher/", you can remove default.png or reduce it and convert it in jpg.

After that, you can propose your update to http://www.cairo-dock.org.

Thanks

The GTK is just the eGTK http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Elementary+Desktop+Project?content=79428
and the other isn't metacity, but elementary emerald, coz i can't get used of the new glossy style of e-Metacity http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=99192

yes, coz it is still in beta, and actually i am using the stable, coz somehow the new version disappointed me a little. you will have just to ad the 2 missing applets, the other things are not bugs from the theme, but the dock ;)

Thanx for the good comment :)
Actually the wallpaper is part of the Ximian wallpapers. You can find them here as rpm file: http://rpmfind.net//linux/RPM/ximian/xd-unstable/suse-90-i586/ximian-wallpapers-0.3-0.ximian.8.8.noarch.html and under .deb based distros, just extract it and find the file called nightjungle.jpeg :)
