Description:

Just a "silver" windows decoration style.
Inspired by Luna theme from Annorax.
I would make a theme from this if I knew how.
If you know how go ahead.

My request is porting new KDE 4 themes to KDE 3. There are number of my window decorations: http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/8310/39607949.png I used it all and I request new themes and window decorations.

To install this theme for KDE 3.x (I'm using 3.0.3) just do the following:

tar xvf 288-silver-decor.tar
cd silver-decor
su -
cp -af silver ${KDEDIR}/share/apps/kwin/icewm-themes
# or cp -af silver ~/.kde/share/apps/kwin/icewm-themes


Then load it up under IceWM themes in the Control Center.

all the other icons are working fine

I had just installed WinXP on a dual-boot configuration (Work demands it), and I was wishing Linux was a little more like xp.

Everyone who is having problems making it work make sure you have the silver directory in icewm-themes, not silver-decor.

but doesnt work for me :-/
i just get a blue titlebar and no buttons ?!? any ideas what good be wrong ? I'm using kde 2.2.1

I followed the installation exactly as described and do not get the buttons, just the blue bar. The other IceWM themes are fine though ;(

Just copy the silver directory one level up and delete the silver-decoration directory ..

if I didn't know any better I'd say it even looks better than the windows XP silver theme. Awesome!

Nice hacking of Windows 2000's titlebar..just different enough that it's neat w/ out being annoying.
