Gnome Stone

These icons are resized, renamed and relaid out versions of the stock icons for Gnome 2.0. They were created by tigert and Jakub "Jimmac" Steiner.
This package will attempt to stay up to date with Gnome icons, repackaged to the current version. When Gnome 2.0 final is released, this package will sync and go to version 2.0.
NOTE *** The only icons currently contained are toolbar icons, as sort of a preview release. Use the theme Southern if you would like a fairly Gnome 2.0 like icon set... this package will match the default icons only.
The name Gnome Stone comes from a variety of sources. As always, I wanted to try and distinguish this package from the Gnome version - in repackaging the icons for KDE, I often am forced to create a few extra "in the style of" icons - I don't want to confuse the original package versus this packaging. I started thinking of "Rock Gnome" or something, a la role playing games that differentiate the types of fantasy characters. Suddenly I realized that "Stone Gnome" (Or the reverse, putting Gnome first for alphabetic reasons) made the most sense... see the screenshot for the reason why.
