Kentoo

Kentoo is basically the Gentoo icon set converted to the traditional KDE icon theme package. I did this because I like the way the Gentoo icons look, but thought it was a pain to use them in KDE because of the different resolutions used, and because there was no index file. Also, this set is cool because it includes a lot of apps that most sets dont, including many games. Some Icons I actually made (like the DCGUI, SuSEgo, and kmenu icons [though i didnt make "kmenu2"]). I hope many people enjoy these icons as much as I do. :-)

Yes they are just icons on a layer inside a bubble, thats all I intended them to be. I wanted icons to look a bit more consistant so I put them in a bubble. Turns out other people liked them and they became pretty popular.

I know because I made some of the icons in question in exactly this manner, though I didn't take existing icons (most of the time), but instead used google image search and cropped&resized what I found.
For those who like the Gentoo icouns this is a very nice thing to have though.
Have you talked with the devs about addin it to portage?
