Description:

nuoveXT is an icon theme for GNOME and KDE.

This is my first attempt of creating an icon theme. There is still a lots to do, but I thought I could share what I've done so far. Made entirely with Inkscape.

A big THANKS to:

- Inkscape: what a great tool! :D
- Ubuntu, Linux and Open Source in general
- All the other GNOME and KDE artists who have inspired me and specially everaldo (http://www.everaldo.com/) which is, I think, simply the best icon designer out there ;-)
- Open Clip Art Library (http://openclipart.org/).
- DeviantArt: One of the best place for inspiration and artworks.
- pwsp.net for hosting my project.

Constructive feedbacks are more than welcome ;-)

Enjoy!

Woppss you made som real nice icons there, the folders looks absolutly stunning.
Glad to here that you are going to make another kmenue button but (at least for me) you should consider a lookover of the trashcan, it look good but doesn't work that well, the 48 version can't hardly be seen on my light grey kicker.

I added a kmenu icon in today's update. Trash can will be blackened in the next update. Thanks for your input.

You have to replace the icon named "kmenu.png" in [size]/apps/ folder. There will be a more generic, none distro specific, kmenu icon in the next release.

Now THIS work roxx. Really, it's the best iconset I've seen so far, not as childish as all the others. Keep up the good work, and better concentrate on making icons for the most important apps (k3b, kget, kgpg, kpdf) and all the actions (zoom in/out e.g.) instead of making new icons for distros!

But... I see an OpenBSD icon, how about getting a FreeBSD one too? Many icon themes lack Beastie... it's a shame. :)

Keep up the good work, this is a very refreshing icon set!
