Description:

KBluetooth is a program which aims to provide a complete application for the usage of bluetooth within KDE.

This is a continuation of kde-bluetooth, but with a very different philosophy, we're going to focus first in the user needs, which means implement everything that a bluetooth application should have.

Once we have it finished and the user has almost all his needs fulfilled, we'll change our focus to develop/improve the current KDE bluetooth support, so a lot of solid movement is expected.

I just cheated the thing and replaced LibKNotificationItem-1 in the top level CMakeLists.txt with KDE4Workspace. I do have kdelibs4-experimental installed, so figured it wouldn't hurt anything. So the cmake finished without error and the make went fine.

I can find my phone, but I'm on Verizon and they s u c k for having their stuff locked down to only use their networked garbage. Anyway enough of that.

I am not able to connect my headphones (Plantronics 590), but I could with blueman.

Anyway, its great to see some movement on a real kdebluetooth app; thanks for the hard work.

endif(${KDE_VERSION} VERSION_LESS 4.3.9)
on

sorry for my ignorance...where do i have to paste it? have i to replace some existing code with these lines?sometimes a little more verbose is welcome... thank you!
I hope this project will grow up, kde4 needs a kio_slave and a working INTEGRATED system to browse devices, headphones etc... I think at netbook and other similars.

Unpack the source, cd into the directory.
You'll find a file called CMakeLists.txt.
Open it in an editor and replace the string 4.3.9 with 4.3.0 as shown above.
Save it. Done.
