I just added a file for Gnome users. Sounds are the same. I needed to create 2 more sounds for Gaim and common desktop.
How to install is in the archive.
-------
I re-compressed the Gnome archive to a tar.gz
-------
11/01/08 : All this sounds are now published under CreativeCommons Share Alike 2.0

Make a new folder in /usr/share/sounds called Cleanus. Copy the index.theme from the /usr/share/sounds/ubuntu directory into it, edit it, and change the name listed in the file. Make a directory under Cleanus called stereo and copy the .ogg files there. Rename the files so they match those in the ubuntu/stereo directory.

When you do so, after unpacking are files stored in own directory. So users don't have to create special directory for it.
It is just minor thing, but it would be nice.

We should keep community together. Not discriminate users of other distributions ;-)

These sounds are great. They need to be the default sounds for at least one distribution, imho.
