Description:

MOBO-THEME

UPDATE: New Version (V2) to address issues and inconsistencies. Unfortunately no solution for firefox-entry-bar-drop-down menu (not showing the proper selected color). But I'm still looking...
In the meanwhile, major readjustments in the GTK2-theme, to align with GTK3.

A new up-to-date theme with modern colors and animations.
Special tweaks for nautilus and Tweak-tool.

REQUIREMENTS:

This is gnome-desktop theme only.
GTK 3.20 -> 3.24
Keep buttons to the right side.

How to install:

Just copy the extracted file to a '.themes'-folder you make in your home directory.
Then use Tweak-tool to select the GTK -theme

Could you add support for Budgie? 'Cause I would love to use this as a Budgie theme instead of the meh default one :)

great addition, it's great because you don't notice it, as if it was part of the default theme... except with firefox, in addition to the thing with the adressbar and text selection, somehow the text inputs are borderless which makes them hard to spot.
i hope that this will help make this theme better. thanks

A great theme, but too big headlines.

Like the theme a lot. However when selected it causes xorg to use 100% CPU resources. When I go to another theme the resources normal up. Any ideas?

Small issue: highligthing text in firefox doesn't work. E.g. when you select some text in an edit box; or when you start typing an address in firefox, and you see the dropdown with suggestions from your bookmarks, highlighting a line with either the arrows or the mouse pointer doesn't work.

Also, the theme's gray color doesn't go well with the blueish gray used by several gnome-shell themes. Can you please suggest a gnome theme that goes well with yours?

Yeah, that's the same issue I reported earlier for SeaMonkey. The author said that he didn't want to test SeaMonkey because it's not in official repositories. Maybe he wants to try Firefox though and maybe it'll fix my SeaMonkey issue as well. I hope so!

Still looking for a solution (I adjusted everything I could think of, but no changes yet)

well, it's very nice colour wise, but the fuzzy bit under the titlebar/menubar takes away from the otherwise overall flat and minimalistic, but stylish, approach. I understand it's meant to be a shadow, but a grey shadow on a grey bar lacks definition

OK let me put it in other words: It's messy, although it has the makings of a really great theme, even better than most, but you need to rethink some decisions.... IMHO

and .... ok, I'll add one more thing: your own creative efforts, even though they only refine existing themes, are so much better than the imitation or duplication of apple's designs....just sayin' like!

I LOVE this theme! Thank you so much! It's georgous and lightweight at the same time. One small issue though: the selection color in GTK2 apps is invisible. I hope you can fix that :)

I see you've responded to comments on your other themes. Would be nice if you could let me know if you're able to fix my issue :)

Could you be a bit more specific? like when and where?

Thanks for commenting! It happens in SeaMonkey, both in the address bar as well as in input text fields. But it also happens in Bleachbit. I can't see what I select, while the selection color should be blue like in GTK3 apps.

SeaMonkey is not in any official repository. Which is making it difficult to check. Bleachbit works as a charm for me. I can find anything wrong themewise.
