Sometimes it's more than just an eye-candy.
I use KDE, however I can't get along without the two image manipulation apps: GIMP and Inkscape. They are mandatory for me.
The dark theme is really useful, however in GIMP -when I use the system default one- I couldn't recognise the tool which was selected due to the half-toned grey contours. I was really annoying. This theme sorted this with a touch of a nice sensation.

Hi, I run a YouTube channel and blog called Logos By Nick and I was curious if I could have your permission to make a modified version of this theme for Windows users, using my own icon theme, and make a tutorial about it? I'd be glad to give you whatever credit and backlinks you'd like. Just let me know. Thanks, and thanks for the nice theme!

Plain and simple you can't do anything in windows that you can do in Linux and that is what makes it so appealing to many of at first and then we start messing around with it and I would say over half to maybe 75 percent go back to windows because they decide it is too much of a learning curve. If and only if you are willing to to learn then install you a Linux Distro and go at it and you make your OS as beautiful as you like.

sorry i am extremely late
put "default.svg" in "~/.config/inkscape/templates" and you will get dark background
or make your own from "file > document properties" then edit the background color and save it as "default.svg" in the same path "~/.config/inkscape/templates"

Theme is nice, Thank you for making it. Only problem is the blue highlight is a little bright for me. I was wondering if I could change the colors.. If I can how do you do that? I found the png files, but don't know if changing them would do anything or just cause problems. and I don't know which ones to change. Thanks!
