i know know where the graphic files are for the cursors, but it seems i am unable to edit the files, that is i would need the original .png files to edit first. maybe i should email ubuntu and ask them to create a left-handed curosr them for human?

sorry to post on your theme, but i am curious how to make cursor themes. also I am using ubuntu with gnome and would like to flip the default theme over for left handed people like myself. But I can not locate where the graphic files are located for the cursors!

For cursors to be available to anyone on the system, they're located in /usr/share/icons. If you only need/want them for your user account, you can place them in ~/.icons

(can you tell someone was looking for this today?;-) )
