I just like "Celena Splash" submitted by dconser, so I decided to make one for Ubuntu...

I am using Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon, and this was just an experiment.

I haven't changed the script, but modified, the artwork to fit the new ubuntu design.

Then install the current theme into your boot image sudo dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-uname -r It should work , if not post in the ubuntu forums on the linked thread.

Also a few extra splashies - 1 with Ubuntu tux, 1 with Debian tux, a dark background one and a wide version for 1280x800 (basically makes Tux and the Windows logo look normal when viewed at 640x480 on a 1280x800 screen).

I just needed a green ubuntu splash that wasn't overly worked on, and since I could not find one anywhere else, I decided I'd do one myself.

*** Added a second theme that will morph the gray apple into a colorized Ubuntu logo.
